The casino floor has 700 slot machines and 30 table games that are protected by Plexiglass. There are also restaurants, a bowling alley and a golf simulator all equipped with hand sanitizer.
Casino officials previously said they have been planning to open at 50% capacity.
General manager Sean Sullivan said masks are required and precautions start at the front door.
“We have automated cameras that will alert us to anybody that has an elevated temperature,” Sullivan said.
During the pandemic, Sullivan said they also focused on air filtration and upgraded their system to keep air circulating throughout the facility.
“The idea with HVAC is turning over their air frequently so there’s never stale air, there’s never virus in the air, if you will. Our air conditioning will turn over 12 times per hour,” Sullivan said.
